Our Community

Fort McMurray is a lovely community that embraces diversity. Daystar is actively involved in community outreaches through beneficial programs and partnerships such as:

  • Sounds of Victory (multinational musical concert)
  • Food Bank
  • Canada Day parade
  • Rotary House Outreach (ministration to senior citizens)
  • Food and clothing drives
  • Volunteering in the community

Our Mandate

Our mandate as a church is to reach people of all races, backgrounds and age groups. At Daystar Chapel, we have natural groups that are structured and equipped to cater for these diverse groups of people through unique programs.

Our Family

At Daystar, the family is the most important unit through which we carry out our mandate. We believe healthy families and community can transform a nation. From the nuclear family to our larger community, we believe in spreading the Peace of God through friendship, co-operation, collaboration and seeking to understand the uniqueness of everyone in our community.
