AMARONE Montecariano - The name rolls off the tongue. This wine is produced using a technique that is more than a thousand years old, the APPASSIMENTO. Only the autochthonous grape varieties are used: Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. After the harvest, the grapes are air-dried for three to four months. Then the dried berries are pressed. This gives the wine its special complexity and its extremely rich and spicy bouquet. Its structure is velvety and elegant, the color is intense ruby red. The aroma is strong and goes very well with pot roast and game. The Amarone Montecariano, is a unique wine that is only produced in Valpolicella at S. Pietro in Cariano VR-Verona.
