Our laboratory technicians thoroughly inspect every rug to find stains, damages, discolorations, and any unique requests from the customer. Everything is examined, including the underpad and rug fibers, fringes, and coloring. The type of material, size, and place of origin of each rug determine how it is catalogued in our system.
Appropriate dusting is one of the most crucial cleaning procedures for rugs. Even after washing and drying, allergens and dust particles will remain in your rug if you don’t thoroughly dust it. We guarantee that every dust particle is removed with our computerized dusting machine. Particles are transferred by our air suction filtration system to a dust compartment, which is cleaned every day.
Every rug is pre-treated before being machine washed using a safe and environmentally friendly dual soap and treatment solution. Pressure washing each rug applies this dual solution, which dissolves and softens dissolved minerals that accumulate on your rug over time. It’s crucial to wash your rugs once a year to stop the hard mineral deposits from eroding the rug’s strength and worth.
Our area rug technicians use powerful pressure washers to loosen up fibres and to extract dirt from deep within your rug, which is followed by extensive rinsing with fresh water.
To guarantee a complete wash for every rug, the rugs are then machine washed. A row of soft brush pads gently scrubs each rug to thoroughly remove any lingering stains and mineral deposits. Through our drainage system, extra eco-friendly soap and water are filtered. Our machine makes sure that the pile and fringes of your rug are thoroughly cleaned without causing any damage to it.
After being rolled up, your rug is placed inside our centrifuge. Your rug will be totally drained of any remaining water and moisture in the centrifuge, guaranteeing that it will not be stained by dyes and that its original colors and texture will remain intact.
After the machine wrings out 90% of the water, the rugs are immediately sent up to our drying room to remove the water from the fibers of the rug. Leaving rugs moist for too long can cause colour run and unwanted mold and bacteria buildup. Our enclosed climate controlled drying room is equipped with a dozen industrial fans that filter circulated air and maintain low humidity, creating the most ideal ecosystem to properly dry your rugs.
Our lab technicians conduct a final inspection to guarantee quality control after the samples are left in the drying room for a full twelve hours. The technician takes their time going over the entire rug, noting and taking pictures of the findings. To recondition and remove loose fibers from your rugs, each one is gently airbrushed.
Final inspection and quality control are integrated with packaging. Once the carpet has received QC’s 100% approval, it is manually lifted onto a specialized winding table, which simultaneously feeds a thick, protective plastic covering over the carpet and electronically winds the rug into a roll. It is crucial to remember that rugs shouldn’t be kept in a moist environment and that this is not an airtight procedure. As soon as the product is received, customers should take off the packaging.
